Staking VANA
When you stake VANA, you lock tokens in a pool and receive a position that represents your stake. The size of your position stays fixed (the system is non-rebasing). As the network adds rewards to the pool, the amount of VANA you can get back for your position goes up. When you unstake, you receive VANA based on your position and the current rate at that time. All staking is done at stake.vana.org.Staking portal
URL: stake.vana.org Use the portal to connect your wallet, stake VANA, view your position, and unstake. It shows your current stake in VANA and may display an estimated APR for rewards. How staking and rewards work
- Position — Staking VANA gives you a position in the pool. The staking contract tracks your position on-chain. The size of your position does not change when rewards are added (non-rebasing).
- Rewards — Network rewards (e.g. from data validator fees) are added to the pool. As the pool grows, your position corresponds to more VANA. When you unstake, you receive the VANA amount that your position is entitled to at that moment.
- APR — The portal may show an estimated Annual Percentage Rate for rewards, based on recent activity and pool state.
How to stake
- Go to stake.vana.org.
- Connect your Vana-compatible wallet. The portal will show your available VANA.
- Enter the amount of VANA you want to stake. A minimum amount applies.
- Confirm the transaction in your wallet. Your stake and position will appear in the portal.
Unstaking
- On stake.vana.org, choose the option to unstake.
- Enter how much of your position to redeem or the VANA amount you want.
- Confirm the transaction. The corresponding VANA is sent to your wallet.
Bridging
Bridging lets you move assets (such as VANA or other tokens) onto or off Vana L1. Jumper is a multichain bridge you can use to bridge to and from Vana. Stargate is Vana’s primary bridge. One way to get VANA on Vana mainnet: swap ETH for wrapped VANA on Ethereum mainnet (e.g. on a DEX), then use Stargate to bridge that wrapped VANA to Vana mainnet. Tokens on Vana are part of the LayerZero ecosystem, so you can move supported assets between Vana and other connected chains.Supported assets
The table below shows which assets can be bridged on each chain. USDC.e is a bridged form of USDC; it may become convertible to native USDC once Circle’s integration is in place. When you bridge ETH from a chain where it’s native, it appears as WETH on Vana; when you bridge out to such a chain, WETH is converted back to native ETH.| Protocol / Chain | Vana | USDC.e | USDT | ETH/WETH |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ethereum | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Optimism | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |

Asset details
- VANA — Vana’s native token uses LayerZero’s OFT (Omnichain Fungible Token) standard, so it can move across supported chains without a separate wrapped version on each chain.
- USDC.e — Bridged USDC on supported chains. Circle’s integration may later allow conversion between USDC.e and native USDC.
- USDT — Deployed and verified by Stargate; you can bridge USDT via Stargate’s routes.
- ETH/WETH — ETH bridged from chains where it’s native (e.g. Ethereum) becomes WETH on Vana. When you bridge back to such a chain, WETH is unwrapped to native ETH.
