VanaXP Program Terms and Conditions

Introduction

The VanaXP Program (“Program”) is operated by Vana Foundation (“Vana”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By participating in the Program, you (“User”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”), which apply in addition to the Vana Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. The VanaXP Program is designed to recognize and reward meaningful participation in the Vana ecosystem. VanaXP (“XP”) is a non-monetary, non-transferable reputation score awarded to users who complete actions that support the growth of the ecosystem.

Nature of VanaXP

  • XP is not a token and carries no monetary value.
  • XP does not represent equity, ownership, or rights to VANA or any other cryptocurrency, asset, or security.
  • XP cannot be transferred, traded, sold, or exchanged between users.
  • XP is account-bound and remains linked to the account under which it was earned.

Eligibility

  • The Program is available to registered users of the Vana App who meet the Vana Terms of Service and comply with applicable laws.
  • Users must be of legal age in their jurisdiction to participate.
  • Vana reserves the right to suspend or restrict eligibility at its discretion.

Earning XP

  • XP is awarded for actions within the Vana ecosystem, including but not limited to connecting data sources, contributing to DataDAOs, participating in partner communities, and engaging with features such as Vibe Apps (when available).
  • Categories, thresholds, and methods of earning XP may be updated by Vana at any time.
  • Vana reserves the right to modify or revoke XP if an error is identified, or if the XP was obtained through fraudulent or abusive activity.

Use of XP

  • XP may be used to unlock access to features, events, privileges, or community functions within the Vana ecosystem.
  • The availability, scope, and nature of such privileges are determined solely by Vana and may change over time.
  • XP does not entitle users to guaranteed future rewards, tokens, or financial compensation.

Anti-Abuse and Fair Use

Users must not engage in manipulation, fraud, spam, or other abusive behavior designed to obtain XP unfairly. Examples of prohibited activity include (but are not limited to):

  • Submitting false or low-quality data.
  • Using fake or duplicate accounts (“sybil attacks”).
  • Exploiting referral systems with fabricated users.

Vana reserves the right to adjust, remove, or nullify XP in cases of abuse, and to suspend or terminate user participation in the Program.

Program Changes and Termination

  • Vana may modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time, with or without notice.
  • Any changes to XP categories, thresholds, or privileges will be communicated in advance when reasonably possible.
  • XP does not constitute a vested right, and participation in the Program is at Vana’s sole discretion.

Limitation of Liability

  • Vana makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the availability, continuity, or value of the Program.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vana shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or claims arising from your participation in the Program or reliance on XP.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Cayman Islands, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

Relationship to General Terms and Privacy Policy

These Program Terms are supplemental to the Vana Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. In the event of a conflict, the Terms of Service shall prevail.
